Chicken Brunswick Stew

chicken brunswick stew

My children and I found this recipe years ago from a Southern Living cookbook and we make it from time to time and when we do, we always ask ourselves, why don’t we make this more often. It is a great soup to make in the crock pot and especially on those chilly days when soup takes extra good and helps warm you up! I hope you like it as much as we do.

Ingredients for Chicken Brunswick Stew

1  chopped onion

4-6 organic boneless chicken breasts, already cooked

2 cans cream styled corn (organic if possible)

2 cans organic diced tomatoes, undrained

1 container organic chicken broth (measure out 14 oz.)

1 bottle chili sauce

1/4 cup organic butter (we use dairy free)

2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoon cider vinegar

2 teaspoon dry mustard

fresh ground pepper

Simply place all ingredients in a crock pot, stir and let cook/simmer on low 4-6 hours. Caution it will be very hot, so let it sit for a few minutes prior to eating. Enjoy!
