It’s Chilly Time!

It’s Chilly Time!

With the cooler weather, comes the desire to make soup! This week we are making Chili at our house. How about you? What have you been cooking? There are only a handful of times that I get to make soup since we live in Florida. I do not like to unless the weather is cool outside. So, whenever it is ‘cool outside’ I take advantage and make some soup!

1 organic green pepper, chopped

1/2 organic onion, chopped

1 can organic pinto beans, undrained

1 can organic light red kidney beans, drained

Cook ground beef in a skillet on medium heat. Lightly saute onion and peppers for a few minutes on the stove. Add all ingredients to the crock pot and stir. Heat on high 4 hours or on low heat 6-8 hours.

That’s it.  Add some sour cream and cheese if you so desire on top. Dig in and enjoy! Do you make chili? How do you make it?

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.(1 Corinth. 10:13)

So colorful! I love to make chili, too, but mine just looks red. :)
