Spinach Lemon Basil Pesto Sauce
I found this recipe through Young Living, the Australia Facebook page. It looked amazing! The picture and the ingredients, and I had to make it. I waited for an opportune time and did. I held an oily meeting at my house and made it for the ladies. We loved it! My husband and son were extremely glad I made more than enough, as they dug right in and enjoyed it too. I believe it will be a recipe I make often. It is simple, quick and super easy to make!
Spinach Lemon Basil Pesto Sauce Ingredients:
1/2 cup pine nuts
3 cups spinach
3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 cup olive oil
1 drop Basil Vitality essential oil
2 drops Lemon Vitaltiy essential oil
Heat the pine nuts in a skillet until golden brown. Combine with spinach, parmesan cheese, garlic, and about 1/2 cup of olive oil in a food processor and blend until smooth. Pour pesto into a glass or stainless steel bowl and add more olive oil if needed. Stir in the lemon and basil vitality essential oils. Garnish with a few pine nuts.
Enjoy! Serve it with pita chips, toasted crackers, baguette croutins, or whatever you’d like.
